The Mexican Bible Seminary (SEBIME) is pleased to announce the accreditation of its“Bachelor’s Degree in Music” by the Secretary of Education and Culture in the State of Sonora, Mexico. This is the second program for which SEBIME has received accreditation over the last two years, and means that the school is one step closer to the dream of becoming a full-fledged university in Mexico. Earlier this week the Board of Directors of SEBIME approved the design of the last two programs which, once accredited, will allow the transition to its new Universidad Atkinson. Seminary President, Kris Ramsundar, acknowledges the work of the tremendous team that helped with this latest accreditation, including Enoe Cortazar May (Vice President), Miriam Perez Hernandez (Academic Coordinator), and Angel Monroy (School of Music Coordinator). The school is also awaiting the accreditation of its program to become a three-year program.
SEBIME is the only Church of God institution of higher education in Latin America, and one of our only schools outside of the U.S. with accreditation by an official/governmental body of the countries in which they serve.
In the attached photo the National Superintendent, Julio Melendez, is being presented with a copy of the Official Bulletin of the Sonoran Secretary of Education and Culture by the President of SEBIME and the members of the Board of Directors. The Official Bulletin contains the legal information accrediting the Seminary.
