Bishop David E. Renfro currently serves as the Church of God MIP Coordinator for the state of Ohio, and has served in that position for 10 years. He also serves as the CAMS program director and the chairman of the State Ministerial Development Board. He is currently a member of the Ohio Church of God State Council and a Regional Elder, on the Dayton, Ohio region. He is also serving as a Pastoral Covenant Group facilitator and Community Service Chaplain.
Pastor Renfro is the Sr. Pastor of the Evangel Church of God in the city of Dayton, Ohio, where he has served 15 years as Sr. Pastor and 11 years as an associate. As well, Pastor Renfro served 25 years as the Administrator of Evangel Academy, a private Christian school of grades k-12. He also directs the Evangel School of Ministry distance learning center.
David and his wife Cynthia reside in Huber Heights, Ohio. They have three children and five grandchildren. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University, a Masters degree in Religious Education from Covington Theological Seminary, and a Certificate In Ministerial Studies from the Church of God School of Ministry.
