A Special Service provided by Lee University’s Department of Theology and the School of Religion

Lee University’s Department of Theology and the School of Religion is sponsoring a special service on the topic of Christian joy.  This celebration will take place at 7:00 pm on the evening of November 17th in Pangle Hall.  There will be four twelve-minute sermonettes on the following themes: (1) Dr. Mark Proctor will address “Joy as Freedom from Sin’s Dominion” in Romans, (2) Dr. Lisa Long will talk about John’s request for believers to love one another “That Your Joy May Be Full,” (3) Ms. Rosalyn Small will discuss “Finding Christian Joy in Hardship” in Philippians, and (4) Mr. Andrew Banacos will offer reflections on “Christian Hope in Resurrection from the Dead” as it finds expression in 1 Peter.  Lee University’s Campus Choir will handle the evening’s music, and the master of ceremonies will be Bishop J. David Stephens.  The evening will conclude with a time of special prayer.
